4-Alarm Fire In Worcester Devastates Commercial Building
A Webster Square commercial building had to be demolished after a huge fire on Tuesday.

WORCESTER, MA — A massive four-alarm fire broke out in a Webster Square commercial building Tuesday morning, leaving one firefighter injured and several local businesses without a home.
The fire broke out around 11 a.m. in a building located along Main Street between Park Avenue and Mill Street. The fire quickly grew to two alarms and hit three alarms around noon. Smoke from the fire could be seen across the city.
The fire destroyed a building that contained several small businesses, including a cell phone store, a tax preparer, and an automotive parts store. Worcester fire officials did not immediately release a cause of the fire.

The damage was so extensive, the city condemned and demolished the building on Tuesday afternoon after the fire was put out. One Worcester firefighter did suffer minor injuries, according to WCVB.
