Fugitive Wanted For Worcester Bar Shooting Surrenders: DA
Breaking: Victor Kelley was wanted for a shooting that happened outside of a Worcester bar in 2014.
WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man added to the Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted Fugitives list last month turned himself in, and was arraigned in connection with a shooting outside a Worcester bar in 2014.
Victor D. Kelley, 29, was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on March 28 after being arraigned before Central District Court Judge Paul McGill on charges of armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license and possession of ammunition without an FID card, said District Attorney Joseph Early.
The charges stem from a shooting about 1 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2014 outside the Diamond Inn at 271 Grafton St. Assistant District Attorney Terry J. McLaughlin said video indicated that the defendant fired six shots, seriously injuring a male victim.
