Girl, 11, Hit By Driver Along Pleasant Street In Worcester
The girl was crossing near Newbury Street when she was hit by a driver in an SUV, according to police.
WORCESTER, MA — An 11-year-old girl suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon after she was hit by a driver in an SUV along Pleasant Street.
The collision happened near 2:30 p.m. when the girl was crossing in a crosswalk near Newbury Street when the driver hit her, Worcester police said.
Police cited the SUV driver for revoked insurance and failure to yield for a pedestrian in a crosswalk, according to a department spokesperson.
