How Many OUI Convicts' 'Last Drinks' Were Consumed in Worcester?

Hundreds allegedly had their "last drink" before OUI arrests at Worcester establishments, with 36 of those at Hurricane Betty's.

WORCESTER, MA — While there were far fewer "last drinks" consumed in Worcester than some other areas, there have been hundreds of OUI convicts to consume their final alcoholic beverage before an OUI arrest in the city.

Worcester has been the "place of last drink" for 237 people who have been arrested and convicted for operating under the influence in the last four years, according to The Boston Globe. The Globe report said that number was for people arrested between 2012 through Sept. 2016 who said they had their last drink at a bar or restaurant in Worcester.

There has been just one "place of last drink" report in Worcester per capita (1,000 residents).
