2 Injured, I-290 Reopened After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Auburn
I-290 westbound was completely shut down Monday morning after a crash involving four vehicles, Auburn police told Patch.
AUBURN, MA — Two people were injured in a crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 290 in Auburn Monday morning, the Auburn Fire Rescue Department confirmed to Patch Monday afternoon.
The westbound portion of the interstate was completely shut down as of around 10:50 a.m. due to the crash, which involved a vehicle on its roof and a large utility trailer across three lanes of traffic, officials said.
Two patients were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

The crash was cleared as of around 12 p.m. and two lanes of the highway are currently open, according to officials.
