I-290 Ramp Closure Coming Due To Bridge Repair
The I-290 eastbound exit ramp will close for one night this week, part of a longer series of closures near the I-90 interchange.
AUBURN, MA — Drivers should watch for a single-night exit ramp closure along I-290 this week.
Starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday, MassDOT will close the eastbound ramp over Route 12 as part of an ongoing bridge repair project in that area. The ramp will reopen by about 5 a.m. Thursday.
During the closure, drivers can continue southbound as the freeway becomes I-395, get off at the next available exit and turn around to head westbound.
Overnight ramp closures near the Mass Pike interchange have been going on for months in Auburn.
