ICE Arrested 2 Men In Worcester, Agency Says

The agency said both men illegally entered the U.S. during the Biden administration.

WORCESTER, MA — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it has arrested two men in Worcester since March.

The agency shared photos of the two men on social media, in an X post announcing the arrest of five people who were "criminal aliens with Interpol Red Notices or who are foreign fugitives wanted for murder/homicide in their home countries."

Magno Jose Dos Santos was arrested on Mar. 22 , and Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested on Apr. 4, according to ICE Boston.

The agency said that authorities in Brazil issued a warrant for Dos Santo for the criminal charges of homicide and attempted crime in May 2021, and that Gomez was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice for homicide and is wanted in the Dominican Republic.

Both men had pending criminal cases in Worcester County District Court, according to the Telegram and Gazette.

Gomez was arrested the same day he was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend; Dos Santos was awaiting arraignment on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the Telegram reported.
