'It Ain't Over': Bernie Sanders Supporters Hold Worcester Meet to Plan Philly Trip
Supporters of presidential candidate Sanders are gathering to plan their trip to Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention.
WORCESTER, MA—They're still feeling the Bern as the summer heats up. For Bernie Sanders believers, time's getting short in support for their candidate.
The "We Want Bernie-Worcester" group is hosting a meet up to gather, plan and support one another in getting their delegates, themselves and as many others to Philadelphia to "take back the narrative" at the Democratic National Convention.
"We're still with Bernie, history seems to have no end of surprises for us, he still could be the nominee, and it ain't over!" the group posted on its Facebook page. "One way or another, it ain't over!"
The gathering takes place on Friday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at Worcester-Pleasant Street Friends Meetinghouse, 901 Pleasant St.
