Juvenile Charged In Worcester Commercial Break-In: Police
A witness driving by saw the break-in and detained a teen who was later arrested, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — A teen was charged in the burglary of a smoke shop over the weekend. Police were called to The Habibi Smokeshop at 650 Main St. at 3:11 a.m. Saturday.
Police arrived and found a male being held on the ground by a witness. The witness said that he was driving by when he saw that the glass door to the building was smashed.
He saw the teen entering the business, then confronted the intruder and detained him until police arrived.
Police corroborated the witness' account. Officers found a tote bag full of stolen items and a hammer.
The juvenile, 17, was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, vandalism, larceny from a building, and possession of a burglarious instrument.
