Leominster Woman, 19, Killed On Highway After Climbing Embankment

Police are asking for help identifying the first of two vehicles that struck her.

BOYLSTON, MA — Police are asking for the public's help after a 19-year-old Leominster woman was struck and killed on I-190 over the weekend.

The victim, Smarlyn Pamela Reyes, was involved in a rollover crash when her Infinit tumbled into the median. She climbed up 20 feet and walked onto the northbound lanes when she was struck by two vehicles, police said.

The first vehicle that struck Reyes did not stay on scene. The second, driven by a 40-year-old Leominster man, stayed on scene.

Reyes was pronounced dead on the scene. The highway was shut down for more than three hours.

Police are asking anyone with information on the vehicle that fled to call 508-829-8410.
