WORCESTER, MA — A man died after an early Sunday shooting in the Main South area, according to Worcester police. The shooting happened just before 1:30 a.m. along Grand Street, police said. The 29-year-old victim was found in front of a building. He died after being taken to a local hospital. This is the second fatal shooting in Worcester this week following last Saturday's double-shooting <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/worcester/worcester-state-shooting-suspect-returning-ma-after-brooklyn-arrest" target="_blank" rel="noopener">at Worcester State University</a>. Police arrested a former Lawrence man in Brooklyn this week over that shooting, and he is being returned to Massachusetts to face charges. Also last Saturday, Worcester police responded to a hospital for a report of a person suffering from gunshot wounds and later died.
