Man Allegedly Rapes Young Girl And Texts 'Sorry' To Mom

A Springfield man allegedly raped a young girl when her mother went out to do errands, and then apologized.

SPRINGFIELD, MA—A Springfield man who allegedly raped a young girl and then apologized to the girl's mother has been charged, reports The Republican. Juan Robles, 31, pleaded not guilty to rape of a child with force, and was held on $50,000 bail. Robles allegedly raped the girl when the victim's mother was out running errands.

The victim lives with four siblings, her mother and grandmother, reports MassLive. When the victim's mom left, Robles allegedly went to the house and took the victim to the basement. One of the sisters went downstairs and saw the alleged incident.

While the victim was at the hospital later, Robles texted her mother and said "I'm so sorry. I don't want to go to jail," reports U.S. News.

According to New Hampshire 1, the young girl's name was not disclosed.
