Man Critically Injured In Worcester Crash Along Southbridge Street

The 37-year-old driver crashed into a parked car and flipped over, Worcester police said.

WORCESTER, MA — A local man was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a rollover crash along Southbridge Street.

The 37-year-old was driving southbound along Southbridge Street around 4 a.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his SUV, crashed into a parked pickup truck and flipped over.

The driver was trapped in his SUV after the crash, but Worcester firefighters were able to free him. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, Worcester police said.

Worcester police did not immediately identify the man, and said the cause of the crash was still under investigation.
