Major Mass Pike Exit Closing This Week Due To Construction
The closure west of Worcester may cause delays along a major route between New England and New York.

STURBRIDGE, MA — MassDOT will shut down a main Mass Pike exit over two nights this week for construction work, setting up delays for westbound drivers.
Overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday, MassDOT will close the ramp from the Mass Pike to westbound I-84. During the work, drivers will detour to either exit 63 to Route 32 or exit 90 to I-290/I-395 and Route 12.
The nightly closures will last from about 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to MassDOT. The closures may be rescheduled due to poor weather.
MassDOT is in the midst of an $8.1 million project to resurface the Mass Pike connection to I-84 and upgrade drainage along the highway.
