Mass Pike, Route 146 Closures Coming Up In Worcester Area
One detour will last intermittently through November, according to MassDOT.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester-area drivers should prepare for some detours this week and into the future.
On Sunday night, MassDOT began a series of nighttime closures along both sides of the Mass Pike at the Route 122 exit in Millbury. Each night through Thursday, the off-ramps will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
"When the I-90 eastbound and westbound off-ramps to Route 122 (exit 96) are closed, traffic will be directed to take exit 94 (Route 146/Route 20) and follow the detour signs to Route 20 eastbound in order to access Route 122," MassDOT said in a bulletin.
A second, more impactful closure will begin soon along Route 146.
Starting April 3, MassDOT will intermittently close southbound exit 3 to Chocolog Road in Uxbridge until November. The closures will allow crews to replace a bridge overpass there.
A detour will guide drivers to exit 1 in Uxbridge to Route 146A, which drivers can use to head northbound to Chocolog Road and other destinations in that area.
