WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are asking for tips to find a driver who hit a motorcyclist over the weekend along Park Avenue.

According to police, the biker was hit at around 8 p.m. Saturday near Mill Street. The driver, who was in a black sport utility vehicle, fled down Mill Street, leaving the motorcyclist with a serious leg injury, police said.

Police believe the SUV driver was headed north on Park Avenue and hit the motorcyclist while taking a left turn into the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. The 33-year-old victim was ejected from the bike onto the sidewalk.

The motorcycle was stuck underneath the SUV for a short time, damaging the front end of the vehicle, which police believe is a Chevrolet Tahoe. Anyone with information should call the Worcester police crash reconstruction unit at 508-799-8674.
