Pizza Delivery Driver Allegedly Robbed of Cash, Coat, Phone and Pizza at Gunpoint in Worcester

A pizza delivery driver was dropping off a pizza on Mendon Street on Sunday when he was robbed by three men, say police.

WORCESTER, MA — Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a pizza delivery driver in Worcester on Sunday.

Worcester PD responded around 8:23 p.m. on Sunday to a Mendon Street home for a report of a man with a gun outside the premises. The caller said that there were two males outside the home, possibly Hispanic, both approximately 5’5” tall, thin build and approximately 30 years old or younger. One of the males was seen to be holding a hand gun.

Shortly after arriving at the address police received a call from a Road Runner Pizza delivery driver. The driver said that he was recently robbed on Mendon Street, and said he was making a delivery to an address on Mendon Street when he was approached from behind by three males. The delivery driver stated that one of the three males was holding a hand gun.

The suspects were described as two Hispanic males and one possible Asian male; all were described as wearing dark clothing with hooded sweatshirts, thin builds, approximately 18-20 years old and approximately 5’8” tall, said police.

The pizza delivery driver said the three demanded his money, and he gave them his cash, but he also took his jacket, the food and an iPhone. The three were last seen running on Mendon Street heading toward Dorchester Street. The victim was not injured.

Investigators are now working on this incident and searching for the suspects.
