Police Look For Suspect Who Stole $15K Worth Of Purses From Worcester Store

WORCESTER, MA — The Worcester Police Department is asking for help to locate a suspect who stole $15,000 worth of items from a local business.

Surveillance video showed the individual stealing the purses from Sweet Jane's Designer Consignment at 120 Main St. last week.

The individual in the photos shared by WPD appears to be wearing a hat and coat and holding the purses. Police also shared a photo of a car that could be involved.

Worcester police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual or vehicle to contact its Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651 or text CRIMES (274637) type the keyword “TIPWPD” followed by a space and a message.
