Police Search for Suspect in Stabbing Outside Hotel Vernon

A fight allegedly broke out at Hotel Vernon, resulting in an altercation, and a stabbing that sent one to the hospital.

WORCESTER, MA—A fight that broke out in Hotel Vernon resulted in a stabbing that sent one to the hospital, and police are searching for suspects.

On Saturday, June 25, around 2:30 a.m., Worcester police detectives were called to a local emergency room for a report of a stabbing victim. The 28-year-old male victim from Spencer was being treated for two stab wounds, both non-life threatening, to his right arm. A friend had driven the victim to the emergency room, and the victim was uncooperative with police.

Police found out that the victim got into a fight with a group of men earlier that evening at Hotel Vernon. When he walked to his car on Lamartine Street, the group approached him and a fight broke out. The victim was stabbed by an unknown male.
