Public Hearing on Electronic Toll Prices to be Held in Worcester
Worcester is among the hearings being held on MassDOT proposed prices for electronic tolling.

WORCESTER, MA—Worcester is among seven cities or towns hosting public hearings for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) regarding the proposed new gantry prices for All Electronic Tolling during the month of September.
The hearings begin Tuesday, September 6, in Worcester continue in other communities until the final hearing on Thursday, Sept. 15.
All of the hearings will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, Sept. 6: Union Station, inside Union Hall, 2 Washington St., Worcester
Wednesday, Sept. 7: North Shore Community College, 303 Broad Street, McGee Building, Room LE303, Lynn
Monday, Sept. 12: Newton City Hall, War Memorial Room, 1000 Commonwealth Ave., Newton
Tuesday, Sept. 13: Framingham Town Hall, Nevins Hall, 150 Concord St., Framingham
Wednesday, Sept. 14: Jackson Mann School, in the auditorium, 40 Armington St., Allston
Wednesday, Sept. 14: Springfield City Hall, Room 220, 36 Court St., Springfield
Thursday, Sept. 15: MassDOT Highway Division District 1 Headquarters, Main Conference Room, 270 Main St., Lenox.
In addition to the hearings, written comments will be accepted for two weeks following the hearings, until 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29.
In October, MassDOT is scheduled to activate All Electronic Tolling to collect tolls on I-90 and the tunnels in the Metropolitan Highway System. All Electronic Tolling has been in place for vehicles since July 2014 on the Tobin Bridge.
