Route 146 Will Squeeze To One Lane During Bridge Work
Two bridges south of Worcester will get repairs this weekend, reducing the freeway to one lane starting Friday.
SUTTON, MA — Drivers headed down Route 146 this weekend may encounter delays due to two bridge repair projects.
Starting on Friday at 5 p.m., MassDOT will reduce the highway to one lane traveling over the Main Street bridge in Sutton and the Lackey Dam Bridge in Douglas — exits 9 and 8, respectively.
The lane reductions will affect southbound travel only. The lane restrictions will end by about 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to MassDOT.
