Semi Rollover On I-290 Closes Lanes
Expect slowdowns in the Worcester area Tuesday following a semitrailer rollover along I-290.
AUBURN, MA — A semitrailer rolled over along an I-290 exit ramp Tuesday afternoon, forcing police to close lanes near the accident.
The rollover happened in the westbound off-ramp to the Mass Pike in Auburn, according to state police. There were no injuries.
This is the second major rollover in that area in recent days. A semi rolled over along the same westbound off-ramp on Friday afternoon. The driver was pinned in the cab for more than two hours as firefighters worked to free him.
