Multiple People Hurt In Crash Outside UMass Memorial In Worcester
A shuttle bus and small SUV collided near Plantation Street, injuring several people.
WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police were urging drivers to avoid Plantation Street near UMass Memorial early Wednesday morning due to a crash.
Police said investigators had closed the North Road entrance to the UMass Chan Medical School at Plantation Street due to the serious car crash.
According to WCVB, 11 UMass Memorial employees people were injured when a shuttle bus and a Jeep collided. At least three were taken to the emergency room, the station reported.
The Crash Reconstruction Team has closed the North Road entrance of UMass Memorial Medical Center off of Plantation Street to investigate a serious motor vehicle crash. Please avoid the area if possible.
