Shots Fired on Freemont: Police Respond

Witnesses saw and heard shots fired, with cars fleeing the area.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are investigating reports of shots fired on Freemont Street on Thursday evening.

On June 23, around 8:10 p.m., police responded to the area of 130 Freemont St. for a report of shots fired.
Witnesses told police they saw two vehicles fleeing the area after shots were fired. Officers collected ballistic evidence from the area, and found that the windows of two apartments on the street were hit by gunshots.

There were no injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
