TD Charitable Foundation Awards $10,000 to Veterans Inc.

Funding from the TD Charitable Foundation grant award will be used by Veterans Inc. fund post 9/11 veteran specific programming.

From Veterans Inc: TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank® recently announced that Veterans Inc. has been awarded $10,000.

Funding from the TD Charitable Foundation grant award will be used by Veterans Inc. fund post 9/11 veteran specific programming. Studies have shown that many veterans coming home report difficulties in transitioning to civilian life, including difficulties finding meaningful employment, housing, and needed health services. Veterans Inc. post 9/11 programming, a cumulative and holistic effort, creates a pipeline for post 9/11 veterans to receive access to the supportive services they may need, while also aiding them in the transition from military to civilian life and employment.

“For twenty seven years Veterans Inc. has been committed to serving America’s military veterans and we know we must continue to be vigilant as the new generation of veterans return home,” said Vincent J. Perrone, Lt. Colonel USAF (Retired) and president and CEO of Veterans Inc. “This is a tremendous honor for Veterans Inc. to receive this funding and we are truly grateful for the support of the TD Charitable Foundation. Without such support, we would not be able to continue to meet the needs of so many veterans and their families.”
