WARL Shelter Stories: And Suddenly Seymour is Up for Adoption
Seymour plays it cool, loves other dogs, and is extremely handsome.
WORCESTER, MA —This cutie is Seymour! Dog play is so rewarding for Seymour that he is looking for someone who may already have a dog to welcome him into his new home. A shy boy with people, Seymour relaxes around dogs. Seymour makes friends quickly with dogs who are easy going and playful.
At around sixty pounds, Seymour is a handsome boy. He enjoys walks and play in and out of the pool with a dog friends here at the shelter. Being reserved when meeting new people, Seymour isn't quite as outgoing as some other dogs. Seymour plays it cool.
With most visitors Seymour will walk casually around sniffing the grass until he is sure you are willing to give him the time to get to know you.
Seymour loves a good game of fetch! He will sit for toys, fetch, retrieve, and drop when asked if you promise to throw another one for him. Seymour lets us know he is ready to play when he wiggles himself up to us with toy in mouth, and wagging tail. Sometimes he will zip around like his rear end is on fire. Running back and forth, pausing briefly to throw his front paws on the ground and his hind end in the air - a classic invitation to play. As with everyone, there are also times Seymour prefers to play with his toys alone. Seymour is crate trained, housetrained, has begun basic obedience training, and was chosen to go home with an employee for a sleepover because we wanted to get to know him better. There is so much we want to tell you about Seymour!
