WORCESTER, MA — On Thursday, enjoy a rare feature performance by comedian, poet and humorist Joe Fusco Jr. at the Street Beat, 1 Ekman St., 7-9 p.m.; Sean Ryan's got an early show (7 p.m.) at the White Eagle on Green Street; and Cara Brindisi sings at The Muse.
On Friday, Little Big Wheel and Thinner share the night with Peak Fifteen, which celebrates the release of a new CD, at JJ's in Northborough; Aldous Collins Band plays at the new Whiskey on Water, starting at 9 p.m.; Desolate Highway plays at Greendale's; A tribute to Lemmy with Bomber (Motorhead tribute), Bottlefight, and Swanky Frank & the Great Pretenders split the bill at the Cove; The Jennifer Lee Band headlines Beatnik's; get down with Decades by Dezyne at Jillian's; and Boombox: the '70s and '80s Experience plays the first of two nights at Sakura Tokyo.
On Saturday, Tyra Penn and Her Army of Snakes present "Snakes on the Rise" at Nick's; The Country Mile debuts at the Cove Music Hall; Band of Brothers, led by Steve Going, debuts at Mount Wachusett's Coppertop Lounge; Stacey Lipkin, JackRabbit Slim and FoxForce5 provide the music for the big Helen's Hope Cancer Research Fundraiser, starting at 1 p.m. at Speakers Nightclub in Marlborough; Charles Longeway signs copies of his new book "Worcester's Forgotten Catacombs" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wycked Java; Chris Houston & the Housetones hit Padavano's; Jay Graham sings at Loft 266.
On Sunday, Bruce Reed is the feature at the Greendale's jam; Brett Brumby's bringing his acoustic to Padavano's Place; and don't forget the St. Patrick's Day parade.
On Wednesday, Russell Watts is the feature at the Wacky's Wednesdays blues jam at Greendale's.
