Woman Arrested On Murder Warrant In Worcester Slaying
Amber Gravel, 27, was initially charged with being an accessory to the shooting death of Darren Dyette, 31, on Aug. 3.

WORCESTER, MA — A 27-year-old Worcester woman was arrested on a murder warrant Thursday in connection to the August killing of a Boston man along King Street.
Amber Gravel was arrested in the days after the shooting of Darren Dyette, 31, and charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact. Prosecutors have said it was her boyfriend, Jacob Grice, 35, who pulled the trigger.
The shooting happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 3. Police arrived to find Dyette with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at UMass Memorial a short time later.

According to prosecutors, Gravel drove Grice to the Piedmont neighborhood to "smoke" with Grice's friends at a home at 38 King St. When Grice got out of Gravel's car, he opened fire on Dyette, who was standing outside, prosecutors said.
Worcester police said Gravel was arrested at her home along Rice Lane on Thursday afternoon.
