WORCESTER, MA — A new Canal District restaurant that will replace Broth and The Hangover Pub is opening soon, according to the owners.

The Blackstone Herbs & Martini Bar will open at 102 Green St. Broth and Hangover Pub occupied the space until September, when owner and founder Michael Arrastia announced their closure.

The closures of the twin restaurants were among a series of Canal District restaurant closures over the last few months, including Maddi's Cookery and TapHouse along Water Street, plus Smokestack Urban BBQ, Buck's Whiskey and Burger Bar and PreGamers Sports Bar and Grill — all located along Green Street.
