Worcester County State Rep. Honored With Service Award
Rep. Meg Kilcoyne was honored during the Doctor Franklin Perkins School's Recognition Day Celebration

WORCESTER COUNTY, MA — A local representative has received an award for her role in public service.
Rep. Meg Kilcoyne (D-12th Worcester) has received RFK Community Alliance’s 2026 Distinguished Service Award in the Field of Public Service.
Kilcoyne said she was honored to receive the award during the Doctor Franklin Perkins School’s Recognition Day Celebration, an annual event that recognizes graduates as well as people who have made contributions in education, public and community service and service to the school.
Rep. Kilcoyne represents the district consisting of the towns of Berlin, Boylston, Clinton, and Lancaster, Precinct 4, of the town of Northborough and the town of Sterling.
RFK Community Alliance says its mission is to promote “meaningful and sustained well-being” for children, youth and adults facing educational, developmental, mental health and other challenges.
Kilcoyne thanked RFK Community Alliance and said the event was an opportunity to recognize the organization’s work with children, families and communities across Massachusetts, as well as the perseverance of graduates and their families.
