Worcester Firefighters Extinguish Third-Alarm Fire

The fire reported earlier this morning has been extinguished.

WORCESTER, MA - The third-alarm fire previously reported by Patch has been extinguished.

There was no issue with the fire hydrants freezing under the frigid temperatures, and everyone made it out of the resident building safely. The blaze took place on Freeland Street, and, according to a report from an X account that tracks fires, started in the attic of a large, three-story complex.

This is a developing story, and updates will be made available when provided.
