Worcester Man Allegedly Uses Phantom BB Gun to Rob 7-11
A Worcester man is facing armed robbery charges after he allegedly pulled what the employee thought was a handgun and demanded cash.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man was arrested for an incident at 7-11 convenience store, where he allegedly pulled what was eventually determined to be a BB gun and demanded cash.
On Wednesday around 1:47 a.m., Worcester police responded to the 7-11 at 1326 Main St. for a report of armed robbery. The store's clerk said that a man came in to the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes at the counter. When the clerk put the pack on the counter, the man raised his jacket, pulling a handgun halfway out of his pant's waistband and demanded cash. The clerk gave the suspect the money, and the suspect ran.
Police and Massachusetts State Police K9s searched the area, with the K9 tracking for a distance, but losing the track.

Worcester detectives took over the investigation and identified the suspect.
On Wednesday afternoon, detectives searched an area the suspect was known to frequent, and found him near City Hall.

Nicholas Hull, 23, 124 Brookline St., Worcester, was seen standing in front of 3 Pleasant Street. Detectives placed Hull under arrest without incident and transported him to police headquarters. The weapon was subsequently recovered. The weapon turned out to be a Phantom BB gun. The BB gun was seized as evidence, said police.
