Worcester Man Dies After Southwest Cutoff Crash: Police
The crash late Monday night involved a pickup truck driver and a tow truck driver.
WORCESTER, MA — A 29-year-old Worcester man died Monday night following a crash along Southwest Cutoff, according to police.
The crash happened just after 11 p.m. when a pickup truck driver and a tow truck driver collided.
"A preliminary investigation shows a pickup truck and a tow truck were involved in the crash. Officers on scene observed heavy damage to the pickup," Worcester police said in a news release Tuesday.
The victim was driving the pickup truck. He was taken to a hospital after the crash, and was pronounced dead there. Worcester police did not immediately provide details on the cause of the crash.
