Worcester Man Faces Fentanyl, Cocaine Trafficking Charges: Police
A man was arrested earlier this week after police searched his home and found cocaine and fentanyl, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man was charged recently after police found fentanyl and crack cocaine at his home, according to police.
The police department's Vice Squad had search warrants for a Maxwell Street address and a silver Mercedes on Monday. Officers were conducting surveillance of the address at about 10:30 a.m. when they saw Miguel Lopez, 44, enter a vehicle.
Police on Oread Street stopped the vehicle, detained Lopez, and found several bags of what appeared to be fentanyl on him.
Police entered the Maxwell Street home and found additional bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine and fentanyl. They also discovered packaging materials and a digital scale.
Lopez was charged with trafficking a class B substance (cocaine), trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams, and possession with intent to distribute a class A substance (fentanyl, second or subsequent offense).
