Worcester Man's Throat Cut By Neighbor During Fight: Police

The fight Saturday morning involved a dispute between neighbors in an apartment building, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested a 38-year-old man Saturday morning after he was involved in a knife fight with a neighbor, the department reported.

Police responded to an apartment building along June Street just after 10 a.m., and outside found a man with a cut across his throat. The victim was able to tell police that he was wounded in a fight with his neighbor.

Worcester police arrested the neighbor inside the apartment, and took him into custody on charges of assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The victim was taken to a local hospital, and police said he was "alert and conscious" at the time.
