Worcester Principal Hit With Cancer: Fundraiser Aids Care
North High School assistant principal Meghan Milonopoulos was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

WORCESTER, MA — Local residents are rallying around a Worcester high school principal who was recently diagnosed with a serious form of cancer.
North High School assistant principal Meghan Milonopoulos was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2021 and immediately began an aggressive chemotherapy routine that will prevent her from returning to work.
Supporters on Friday started a GoFundMe fundraiser for Milonopoulos and have quickly raised close to $80,000 against a $90,000 goal. The money will help pay for medical treatments and daily expenses for her family, which includes three young children.
