Worcester Schools Class Of 2026 Graduates Head To Colleges, Military And Trades
Nearly 2,000 Worcester students are moving on to colleges, military service, trade programs and jobs after the district's 2026 commencement.
WORCESTER, MA — Nearly 2,000 Worcester students are moving on to colleges, military service, trade programs and jobs after the district’s 2026 commencement season.
Worcester Public Schools shared a list Tuesday of where members of the Class of 2026 are headed next, including dozens of colleges and universities, several branches of the military, trade schools and career paths.
Graduates plan to attend schools including Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester State University, Quinsigamond Community College, UMass Amherst, Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University, Columbia University, Tufts University, Wellesley College and Williams College, according to the district.
Other students are headed into military service with the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and National Guard, the district said.
The district also listed several trade schools and training programs, including Assabet Valley Tech, Lincoln Technical Institute, Porter and Chester Institute, Universal Technical Institute, WyoTech and Grafton Job Corps.
Some graduates are entering career and apprenticeship paths, including construction, plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal work, carpentry and positions with employers such as Christopher House, General Electric, Patrick Motors Volkswagen, Riverlin Animal Hospital and Wilson Language Training, according to Worcester Public Schools.
Worcester Public Schools also posted links to graduation streams and photos from the Class of 2026 commencement ceremonies.
