Worcester Students To Perform With Foreigner In Hanover Theatre
The Burncoat High School Quadrivium Chorus will take the stage with Foreigner to sing on of the band's hits.
WORCESTER, MA — Students from Worcester's Burncoat High School Quadrivium Chorus will share the stage with Classic-rock band Foreigner. The chorus will join the band in the Hanover Theater on May 9 to sing "I Want To Know What Love Is".
Students in the chorus are exciting to sing alongside the legendary band, "My mom loved them when she was young," said sophomore Corinna Iannacchiano, "For her to go to another of their concerts and see me on stage with them will make her very happy."
This isn't the first time the Quadrivium Chorus has been invited to sing in the presence of stars. The group previously sang with Sam James of NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ Ayla Brown of ABC’s ‘American Idol,’ country singers Billy Dean, Linda Evans, Rebecca Lynn Howard and star of stage, screen and television Julie Andrews. They have also been the back up chorus for Country Music Hall of Fame Superstar Kenny Rogers on many occasions.

Most recently, the Quad won the WEC’Appella Competition at Mechanics Hall for the third year in a row, adding to a great year of achievements including performing on the floor of The House of Representatives at The Massachusetts State House for the inauguration of that legislative body. The Quad also performed for the funeral service of Worcester Fire Fighter Christopher Roy.
"They love singing anywhere, anytime," Burncoat High School Choral Director, Dave Twiss, said, "but having a large and enthusiastic audience is a wonderful thing."

Senior Miriam Nortey is very excited. "It will be a great experience for all of us because, after all, it’s not everyday that you get to perform with such amazing and legendary artists. This isn’t just any concert. Foreigner is really successful and somehow, we get to perform with them. That’s unbelievable."
