Worcester Teen Wounded In Union Hill Shooting
The weekend shooting sent the 17-year-old to the hospital. Police later arrested a teen near the scene of the shooting.

WORCESTER, MA — A 17-year-old from Worcester was shot and wounded over the weekend in the Union Hill area, according to police.
The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday along South Street. Someone shot the teen in the leg, and he was taken to a local hospital and was expected to recover, Worcester police said.
On Tuesday, police arrested 16-year-old along South Street near a school after he was found carrying a gun. Police did not directly link the shooting to the Tuesday arrest, saying the 17-year-old's shooting was "still under investigation."
