Worcester Woman Killed In Mass Pike Rollover Crash

The crash happened near the Charlton rest stop Friday afternoon, according to state police.

WORCESTER, MA — A 34-year-old Worcester woman died Friday afternoon in a rollover crash along the Mass Pike, according to state police.

Danielle Wysote was driving in the eastbound lanes just after 4 p.m. when her car crashed and rolled over. A person under 18 was riding in the passenger seat.

Wysote died at UMass Memorial hospital in Worcester. The passenger was not injured, but was taken to the same hospital for an evaluation, state police said.

State police closed the Charlton rest stop for about two hours to investigate the cause of the crash. The incident was still under investigation as of Saturday morning.
