PETA named Belmont Vegetarian among the top "vegan soul food joints" in the country.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester's Belmont Vegetarian has been named to a list by PETA of "vegan soul restaurants that will blow your mind." Coming in at number 13 on this national list, PETA said that Belmont Vegetarian earned a prime spot for its "heart and healthy fare."
The popular takeout spot specializes in a “soulful Belmont twist on Jamaican and American inspired dishes” with robust plant-based entrées such as vegan Pepper Steak, BBQ Chicken, and Lamb, plus hit-the-spot pasta dishes like Macaroni & Soy Cheese and Spaghetti & Veggie-Balls, said the announcement.
