New Trial For 2 Accused Men In Whitmer Kidnapping Plot: Report
Adam Fox, 39, and Barry Croft, 46 will face another trial in connection to the kidnapping plot, the Detroit News Reported.

MICHIGAN — A federal judge ordered two of the four men prosecutors said plotted to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to stand for a retrial during a Thursday afternoon hearing in Grand Rapids, according to a report from the Detroit News.
Grand Rapids resident Adam Fox, 39, and Delaware trucker Barry Croft, 46 will face another trial in connection to the kidnapping plot, the report said.
Fox and Croft, along with Brandon Caserta and Daniel Harris, were found not guilty in April after a jury failed to unanimously convict the four men of plotting to kidnap Whitmer.

Although the defense argued there's not enough evidence for a retrial, Chief U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker disagreed, and want to start a new trial "as soon as we can."
"A rational jury, in my view, could still rule against Mr. Fox, rule against Mr. Croft," Jonker ruled from the bench. "We will need to have another jury weigh the evidence."
