3 MI Lottery Players Spilt $697K Fantasy 5 Jackpot

MICHIGAN — Three Michigan lottery players are sitting pretty after splitting a $697,974 Fantasy 5 jackpot, according to Michigan Lottery officials.
The three lucky players, one from Macomb County, one from Isabella County and one from Wayne County, matched the numbers drawn in the July 12 drawing (08-17-18-24-29) to split the huge jackpot, according to lottery officials.
Each player received $232,658, according to lottery officials.

David Constantakis, 68, of Wayne County, bought his winning ticket at Family Fare on Forest Avenue in Frankfort.
"I was on vacation in Frankfort and bought a few Fantasy 5 tickets when I stopped at the store to get snacks for our canoe trip," Constantakis told lottery officials. "I took the tickets back to the store after the drawing and scanned them. I got a message to see the retailer on one of them, so my wife pulled up the winning numbers online and read them off."

"When she got to the last two numbers, she said, ‘If we have 24 and 29, we are going to be sitting pretty.’ When I looked down at the ticket and confirmed those were my last two numbers, I was in awe," he added.
With his winnings, he told lottery officials he plans to pay off his home, donate and then save the remainder.
The Macomb County player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket at Groesbeck and Elizabeth Petro, located at 43561 Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township, according to lottery officials.
The Isabella County player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket online at MichiganLottery.com, according to lottery officials.
