Biden Coming To MI Next Week
The president is expected to talk about the impacts his administration's "Investing in America" agenda has had in Michigan.

MICHIGAN — President Joe Biden will visit Michigan next Friday, Sept. 6, according to White House officials.
The president is expected to talk about the impacts his administration’s "Investing in America" agenda has had in Michigan.
The initiative aimed to rebuild the manufacturing industry across the nation, creating jobs in the process. That plan "has helped create over 421,300 new jobs in Michigan and unleashed nearly $28.5 billion in private sector investment in the state" as of June, according to a White House fact sheet.

White House officials did not specifically say where the president would be at in the state.
Biden's visit comes just days after Trump spoke in Potterville, a town just southwest of Lansing. Vice President Kamala Harris is also expected to speak in Detroit on Labor Day.

Biden last visited Detroit in early July when he faced pressuring calls from within the Democratic Party to get out of the presidential race. He ended his campaign a few days later.
