Eighty to 90 students were inside Pattengill Academy at the time of the shooting, school district spokesman Bob Kolt told the Lansing State Journal.
Yankowski said in a release Friday night that the teen was a backseat passenger. Her parents and a 21-year-old man were also in the vehicle. The girl was not a Pattengill student.
