Harris Campaigning With Michelle Obama This Week In MI: What To Know

KALAMAZOO, MI — Vice President Kamala Harris will hold a campaign rally with former First Lady Michelle Obama this weekend in Kalamazoo, according to campaign officials.

The get-out-the-vote rally will be held on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Campaign officials did not say where in Kalamazoo the event will be held.

The event also comes on the first day that early in-person voting is available across Michigan. The event "will be focused on driving enthusiasm and mobilizing voters to cast their ballots," according to campaign officials.

It will be Michelle Obama's first event on the campaign trail for Harris, who is virtually tied with former President Donald Trump in Michigan.

Michelle's husband, Barack Obama, was in Detroit Tuesday night where he campaigned for Harris along with Eminem and several other Democratic leaders.

Trump is also expected to hold two Michigan rallies this week.
