Kamala Harris Returning To MI For 2 Campaign Events Friday

MICHIGAN — Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris is returning to Michigan Friday for two campaign events, according to campaign officials.

Harris will hold campaign events in Detroit and Flint before returning to Washington that day, according to campaign officials.

Officials did not provide any additional details about the events, such as a place or time, or whether they would be open to the public.

However, a website that lists Harris campaign events included a registration link for a rally in Flint, which says it will happen from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday.

The Michigan visit will be Harris' first trip to Michigan since she shared a stage with Oprah Winfrey in Farmington Hills last month. The two tackled several hot-button issues, such as the cost of living, abortion and gun ownership.
