Look Up! You Might See The Starlink Satellites In MI This Weekend
The Starlink satellites, which are owned by SpaceX, provide internet to remote locations around the world.
MICHIGAN — If you happen to see a string of lights in Michigan's skies this weekend, don't be alarmed, they're just the Starlink satellites, according to a website that track's the satellites.
The long string of lights will be visible over Michigan's skies at 5:12 a.m. Saturday, 5:15 a.m. Sunday and 4:21 a.m. Monday, according to the website.
The lights will appear in the southwest sky and move quickly toward the east-northeast, according to the website. They will only be visible for three to four minutes each time.

Skies over most of Michigan will be partly cloudy Saturday morning, but they should open up and be clear for Sunday and Monday mornings, according to the National Weather Service.
The Starlink satellites, which are owned by SpaceX, provide internet to remote locations around the world. There are more than 6,000 of the satellites in space, according to Space.com. Each satellite lasts roughly five years.
