Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash On Telegraph Road In Southeast MI: Sheriff
Officials did not release any details about the suspected driver or the vehicle.
BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — A man who was found dead along Telegraph Road in Monroe County early Thursday is now being investigated as a hit-and-run crash, according to officials.
Officers found 61-year-old Kevin Chesney dead at 1:28 a.m. Thursday on South Telegraph Road near Crabb Road in Bedford Township, according to officials.
An autopsy showed the Temperance man died from blunt force trauma to the head, according to officials.

Investigators believe Chesney was walking north on the road when he was struck by a passing pickup truck or commercial vehicle.
Officials said the driver did not stop. They believe the vehicle would have damage to its passenger side, possibly on the mirror or another object extended from the side of the vehicle.
