MI Man Attacks Neighbor With Samurai Sword, Pulls Knife On Responding Officers: Report
The victim was found bleeding from the neck and taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released, according to a report.
MANCELONA TOWNSHIP, MI — A northern Michigan man is facing charges after police said he attacked a neighbor with a samurai-style sword during an argument and pulled a knife on officers, according to a report.
The incident happened last Sunday at a home on Green Street in Mancelona Township where officers found a man bleeding from the neck, 9&10 News reports.
The 50-year-old Mancelona Township was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released, police said.

Investigators connected 53-year-old David Sivak to the attack and found him at his home where he pulled a knife on officers, fled on foot before officers caught him during a struggle, according to the report.
Sivak was charged with assault with intent to murder, plus three counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police office. He was placed in Antrim County Jail.
